Joseph M. Testor
BOILING SPRINGS, SC-- Joseph McCusker Testor, 85, of 5017 Willow Drive passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home of Inman. He was the husband of Patricia Mills Testor. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Testor.
Mr. Testor was a native of St. Paul, Minnesota and was a son of the late Julius and Marguerite McCusker Testor. He was a retired football coach of Polk County Central High School and Assistant Superintendent as well as a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church. He was a World War II naval veteran and a member of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, James M. Testor of Columbia, Charles P. Testor of Boiling Springs, Cary Cooper of Galveston, TX, Penn L. Cooper of Augusta, GA, and Lionel C. Cooper of Redland, CA; a brother, Dr. Jim Testor of Wanona, MN; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Eggers Funeral Chapel of Boiling Springs. Deacon Bob Sturm will officiate. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Risen Savior Catholic Church, 2575 Reidville Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
The family will be at 5017 Willow Drive, Boiling Springs.
