June Dill Obituary
LANDRUM, SC-- June Shehan Dill, 76, of Landrum passed away on September 15, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Jake and Mary Jane Walker Shehan and the wife of James Alton Dill. She was predeceased by her first husband James 'Junebug' Bridgeman.
June was a member of Bible Baptist Church and for many years was the Director of the Small World Daycare in Boiling Springs; she then opened a daycare in her home. She loved taking care of children and working outside in her flowers.
In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters, Vickie Thomas, Beth Bunner and Tina Martinez; step sons, Randy and Larry Bridgeman, Keith Dill; step daughter, Susan Chitwood; a brother Steve Shehan; sisters, Judy Ruff, Peggy Jo Painter, Elizabeth Wahl, Pauline Jackson, and Jewel Lynch; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Buddy, Leo and J.J. Shehan; sisters, Elma Pace and Ellen Lindsey.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 11:30AM -12:30PM at Petty Funeral Home, where funeral service will follow in the chapel conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at her home.
