Kenneth Scruggs Obituary
CHESNEE, SC-- Kenneth Wayne Scruggs, 50, of 221 Burton Drive, Chesnee, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born September 25, 1961, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of Judy Genelle Parris Scruggs of Mayo and the late Howard Scruggs, Sr.
Ken was a member of New Harvest Church of God in Gaffney, the owner of JKL Services, and employed at NURRC as Maintenance Supervisor.
In addition to his mother, loved ones left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lynne Marie Scruggs; daughter, Hope Goldman and husband David of Fingerville; sons, Benjamin Scruggs and wife Farrah, Jeffrey Scruggs and wife Betsey, and Seth Scruggs, all of Chesnee; grandchildren, Emilee and Brandt Goldman, Brady, Bryson, and Collyn Scruggs; brother, Howard Junior Scruggs, Jr. of Mayo; and sister, Linda Ann Scruggs of Mayo.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services celebrating his life will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Wells. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are welcome and memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Ken, as my husband and I called him, was such an awesome young man. He is most definitely missed by us. God brought an angel back home to be with Him. Lynn, we know that you miss him, but one day you will hear him say, here comes my Lynn.

Lynn and Ed, I am so sorry to here of Kenny's passing. But just remember that he is now safe in God's arms. I want you and your family to also remember that God is hugging you all right now. Kenneth, you will be well missed. You were such a good man. Your family and friends miss you very much, but we know you are with the Lord looking down upon us. I heard about Ken being in the hospital and his accident through the prayer request at Restoration Church. Wendy Meadows was keeping the church abreast with Ken's progress. I remember Ken as a man with passion and enthusiasm and a man who did things for the glory of God.Lynne, my wife Rebecca and I will pray for you and your family during this transition in your life. The Lord is right there even though it might not "feel" like it. He will never leave you or forsake you especially during the storms in life.
