Larry Harken Obituary
Boiling Springs, SC- Larry Lee Harken, 73, husband of Ann Clark Harken, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Center.
Born in Bradford, PA he was the son of the late N. Lucille McBride Harken and Elmer Floyd Harken. Mr. Harken was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church. He moved his family to Spartanburg SC in 1979 to work for Michelin Tire Corp. He retired from Michelin.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years, are his daughters, Tracey Harken Simmons (Wayne) of Blacksburg, SC, Amy Wilson (David) of Spartanburg; granddaughter, Meagan Williams of Spartanburg; sister, Marsha McCracken (Charles) of Erie, PA, brother, Gary Harken (Martha) of Little Rock AR and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at New Beginnings United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 3:00PM officiated by Reverend Terry Fleming.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation P.O. Box 96280 Washington, DC 20077, or www.arthritis.org or to New Beginnings Mortgage Reduction Fund, New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 201 Rainbow Lake Rd., Boiling Springs SC 29316.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Larry was my supervisor for many years at Michelin in Spartanburg. He was also a neighbor when he lived in Springfield ( I live on Oakmont Dr). I know many at Michelin have fond memories of Larry. Prayers for all of the family.
