Linda Ponder Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Linda Kathryn 'Aunt Linny' Ponder, 68, of Spartanburg, SC went peacefully to sleep and woke up in her heavenly home Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born July 9, 1948 in Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Ruby Ponder.
Linda was retired as a Loan Technician at USDA Rural Development, Spartanburg, after 25 years of service. She was a member of United Baptist Church. She loved her great nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include her sister, Martha West (Boyd) of Boiling Springs, SC; nephew, Ryan West (Amanda) of Boiling Springs, SC; niece, Lara Richards (Bill) of Troy, VA; great nieces, Emerie West, Holly West, and Shelby Richards; and a great nephew, Ben West.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Robert Emory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Baptist Church, 7319 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

My condolences to the family of the late Ms. Linda Ponder. I worked with Linda for eight years, and always found her to be such a sweet and caring person, that truly loved her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.
