Mary Frances Nabors
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mary Frances Briggs Nabors, 85, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Emeritus at Skylyn Place-Spartanburg. Born May 8, 1927, in Union County, SC, she was the widow of Warren Lee Nabors and daughter of the late Wallace Simpson and Lillian Stevens Briggs. She was a member of Saxon Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Ronald "Sonny" Warren Nabors and wife Wanda of Palmetto, GA; daughter, Mary Ann Nabors and Tony Pogue of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Kevin Lee Pogue and wife Catherine of Spartanburg, Spring Marie Self and husband Donnie of Newnan, GA, and Ronny Lee Nabors of Palmetto, GA; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dr. David Boyter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
