Sybil Mami Obituary
WOODRUFF, SC-- Sybil Elizabeth Saxon Vaughn Mami, 65, of 140 Wofford Street, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2014. She was the wife of Peter Mami and the daughter of the late Earnest Saxon and Myrtle Pike Saxon. She was a homemaker.
Survivors also include two sons, Jeremy Vaughn of Inman and Travis Lowe of Pauline; three daughters, Laura S. Dill of Spartanburg, Margie Calvert and Dee Vaughn both of Woodruff; a brother, Mike Saxon; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gary and Leonard Saxon.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the funeral home. The interment will be at New Hope Freewill Church Cemetery.
The family is at her daughter's home, Laura Dill, 120 Leawood Road, Spartanburg.
