GAFFNEY, SC-- Vickie Denise Childers Elliott, 49, of 165 Elliott Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her residence.
Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Johnny Franklin Elliott of the home and was the daughter of the late Mary Yvonne Bible Childers. Mrs. Elliott was a graduate of Gaffney High School, was a homemaker, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens.
Surviving, in addition to her husband is a son, Jordan Tyler Elliott of Gaffney; a daughter, Misty Elliott Lorr and husband, Matthew of Cowpens; two brothers, Ricky Childers and wife, Robin and Darin Childers and wife, Amber, all of Cowpens; two sisters, Renee Wright and husband, David of Gaffney and Donna Woody and husband, Joey of Chesnee; three grandchildren, Isaac Christopher Lorr, Caleb Austin Lorr and Landon Tyler Elliott.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens with Rev. Henry Coley officiating. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of Renee and David Wright, 1385 Old Post Road, Gaffney.
