Wilhelmina Kirby Obituary
UNION, SC-- Mrs. Wilhelmina Howell 'Willie' Kirby, age 81, of 1214 S. Pinckney St., Union, widow of Ernest E. Kirby, formerly of Hancock St., went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 30, 2016.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Pauline Heinz and husband Steven and Sara 'Chinki' Manis all of Union; two sons, Michael Scott Kirby of Spruce Pine, NC and Ernest 'Bubba' Kirby of Union; 14 grandchildren, and a number great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kirby was predeceased by two sons, Kenny Kirby and Danny Prather and by three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2016 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will be at Pacolet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Union Co. Humane Society, 218 N. Pinckney St., Union, SC 29379 or Gentiva Hospice, 1261 S. Duncan ByPass, Union, SC 29379.
