Frances Aubrey Obituary
TAYLORSVILLE
A Taylorsville resident, Mrs. Frances Laurita Aubrey, age 83, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born June 11, 1942, in Louisville to the late James Howard and Novella Riggs Milby. Laurita retired from The Peoples Bank where she was a teller for 21 years. She enjoyed flower gardening and embroidery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Crouch and a brother, Kenny Milby.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Floyd "Bill" Aubrey; her daughter, Beth (David) Merideth of Taylorsville; her son, Scott (Lynn) Aubrey of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Taylor (Aaron) Cunningham and Ryan Aubrey; two great-grandchildren, Aly and Zoe Cunningham; and five siblings, James Howard (Jan) Milby Jr. of Taylorsville, Michael Milby of Louisville, Pat Milby of Muldraugh, Janet Sue (Joe) Dooley of Gilbertsville and Joe (Marilyn) Milby of Shepherdsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Laurita Aubrey will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday after 9 a.m. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
