Andrew David WELLER

1986 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce that Andrew David Weller passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 35 in Redmond, WA. Andrew was born to Gerald "Jerry" and Leslie Weller on November 6, 1986. He grew up in Spokane, WA, where he graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2005. He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Washington State University and his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University. After college, he moved to the Seattle area for work, an area that he had loved for much of his life.

In his adult life, Andrew was an avid reader who also loved playing video games, practicing jiu jitsu, and socializing with his close friends. He was a skilled cook, and loved entertaining friends and family. He enjoyed engaging people in a variety of intellectual and philosophical discussions. Growing up, he spent his summers at Twin Lakes, ID swimming, fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. Andrew was great at watersports, everything from kneeboarding to slalom skiing. He embraced his love of furry creatures by spending time with animals at the local animal shelters and adopting a kitten, Alfred. Andrew was known for his kind heart and his really bad jokes.

Andrew is preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Weller (Munro), maternal grandfathers, Herb Munro and Neil Munro, and paternal grandparents, Woody Weller and Ruth Weller (McDonald). Andrew is survived by his father, Jerry Weller, sister, Jennifer Weller, brother, Alexander Weller, grandmothers, Donna Munro and Barb Munro, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him immensely.

Andrew will be interred at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Spokane Valley, WA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
