Barbara Snowdon Obituary

SNOWDON, Barbara A. (Age 55) Barbara A Snowdon entered into eternal rest March 31, 2010 at the age of 88 in Spokane, WA. Barbara was born August 4, 1921 in Detroit MI to William and Florence Griffiths. She attended Duke University in Durham, NC and lived in the Spokane area for the past six years. She is survived by two sons; William Snowdon, St. Charles, MO, David Snowdon, Spokane, WA; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Philip (Susie) Snowdon, Spokane, WA; five grandchildren, including Rachelle (Curt) Mulder, Spokane, WA, Rebecca (Matt) Chase, Silverton OR, and Kyle Snowdon, Fort Collins, CO; eight great-grandchildren including Jordan, Benjamin and Bradley Mulder and Spencer and Makalay Chase; and a sister and brother in law, Betty and James Clark, Redding, CA. Preceded in death by her husband Matthew H. Snowdon, Jr., one son Philip Snowdon and a brother, William Griffiths. Cremation was entrusted to Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Urn placement will take place in the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen breast cancer research.
