Barbara WELLIEVER Obituary

WELLIEVER, Barbara G. July 28, 1937 - June 21, 2015 Barbara was born and raised in Spokane, WA, and lived here her entire life. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Skip" Welliever in 2010. They were married for 56 years and raised wonderful family. She is survived by her four children: Donald (Danielle) Welliever, Ron (Connie) Welliever, Tina Welliever, and Juanita Baker; her sister, Bonnie Reese and brother, Edward Conner; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was proud of and grateful for her entire family. She felt blessed to be able to visit Hawaii a couple of times and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved gardening and nature and watching the sunrise! She also enjoyed watching Gonzaga basketball games on TV. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society. No Services at her request. "So Proud to call you Mom. Love you and Miss you forever."

I love and miss you, Grandma. You were the best Grandmother ever, and I will always cherish the memories we had together. Be good up there til I get there, now Grandma.. Don't be so ornery you get booted out before I get to see you again! Hahaha. - Love from your Grandson, Bug.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My mom Viola was a good friend of your mom's. I remember spending some time playing with you guys when we were young. Had stopped in a couple of times and saw your mom and had such a great visit. She was a wonderful lady. Nice memories of your Skip also. Can picture them in Heaven together again. Maybe they are playing the marble board game with my mom and John, LOL
