Beth M. SILVER

1980 - 2022

Beth M. Silver passed away due to complications stemming from her long running battle with Neuroendocrine Pancreatic Cancer on October 11, 2022 in her home, surrounded by loved ones. Beth, who resided most of her life in the Spokane Valley, was born on October 29, 1980 in Des Moines, Iowa. Beth will long be remembered for her kindness, electric smile, and her caring nature. Those that remember her know that no matter how difficult things became, or how debilitating, she always placed the needs of others before her own.

A talented artist, quiet, and reserved, she always shined most brightly when working with children, either on her own, or during her years spent in child development as a childcare worker. Always a calming presence, and gifted communicator, she was able to connect on a unique level with children of all ages.

Beth, gone too soon is survived by many including her four children, Malia, Makena, Mylie, and Chase. She is also survived by her sisters (Athena Mangano, Cara Hamilton), parents (Joan and Thomas Hamilton Jr.), grandparents (Marjorie J. Duffey, Thomas D. Hamilton Sr., Patsy L. Hamilton), and life partner of over 10 years Jack Gullette. Beth was preceded in passing by her father (William Arthur Duffey), and her grandparents (Arthur C. Duffey & C. Howard and Mary Joyce Nelson).

Beth made it a habit to always share the best of herself with others. She may be gone, but will always be present in those whose lives she touched. The family will be hosting an intimate graveside service at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Please reach out to a member of the family for additional details.
