Beverly BLUNDON Obituary
Beverly "Bev" Blundon, a wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on February 9, 1938 in Spokane, WA. Bev was the daughter of Rolland and Alice Cannon and a sister to Darlene Lorenzen.
Bev attended Rogers High School. Following her education, Bev embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. In marriage, she was blessed with two loving partners: Richard Cochran and later Norm Blundon, who brought joy and companionship into her life. Together, they shared the joys and challenges of raising a family. Bev had five children: Laurie, Rick, Cheryl (Frank), Rene, Teresa (David) as well as stepchildren Marilyn (Jim) and Rod (Colleen). She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
Bev had a zest for life and a passion for adventure. She found joy in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Her favorite destination was the Oregon Coast, where she reveled in the beauty and tranquility of the ocean. Bev and Norm embarked on numerous journeys across the United States, collecting bells from every state they visited. Bev traveled beyond the borders of the U.S., with adventures in Europe, Alaska, Costa Rica and memorable cruises.
Beyond her travels, Bev was a active member of her community. She served as the secretary of a bowling league for many years, earning numerous trophies and accolades. She was also a dedicated member and secretary of TOPS, a weight loss group, where she found camaraderie and support in her journey towards health and wellness. Bev looked forward to participating in
Bloomsday every year, proudly, collecting 25 T-shirts as a testament to her commitment to fitness and community.
In addition to her active lifestyle, Bev found fulfillment in her work at the Civic Theater, where her talents and dedication shone bright. Bev leaves behind a lifetime of memories and her legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will be cherished by her family and friends. Bev's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
A celebration of Bev's life will be held on March 13th, at 1pm, at Northview Bible Church located at, 13521 N. Mill Rd. Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Civic Theater.
