Bobi Lee SIMPSON

Bobi Lee Simpson, age 32, of Spokane, Washington, joined her family in Heaven due to health complications on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Bobi was born June 4, 1991, alongside her twin sister Tomi Lea Simpson in Spokane, Washington, to their mother, Valerie LeRae Ferguson and father, Thomas Lee Simpson. Bobi was raised with Tomi, and her older sister, Amanda Rochelle Simpson in Inchelium, Washington. The girls were raised with their cousins, Juanita, Clifford (CJ) Thomas, Robert Ferguson II, Devyn, and Danielle Lemery. They were introduced to powwow circle by their grandma, Cecelia Ferguson. Bobi's powerful voice rang out throughout Indian country singing with Gilbert (Gil) Hollis, Red Road Drummers, Eric Loer, Hall Creek, Galen Desautel, Noisy Water People, and finally, Clement Nicholas, Barnaby Island. Bobi and Clem helped to form a student led drum group at the Salish School of Spokane. Bobi had begun pursuing Salish starting in Inchelium and continuing at the Salish School of Spokane. Bobi's crowning achievement was the birth of her first and only child, Analiyah Quilneana Williams. Analiyah continues her mother's legacy by learning the Salish language, singing, dancing, and filling every room she is in with laughter and love. Bobi was the favorite auntie to 15 biological nieces and nephews and became auntie Bobi to all her friends' children. Bobi had the unique ability to spread love and laughter anywhere she went and will be remembered for the fierce loyalty she had to her family and friends. Services were held on Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th at the Inchelium Community Center, with burial following at Hall Creek Cemetery.
