Caleb WARD Obituary

Caleb Joseph Ward was the fifth child of Nathaniel Barnaby & Gerardine Marie Ward, born March 1, 1957. Cal loved music, a good laugh and had a feisty sense of humor.

In his early years he worked as a truck driver, an electrician and an apprentice engineer. Handsome, like his father and brothers, he was a great mechanic, with a creative mind, and a good heart.

Cal was 25 when he was seriously injured in a car accident that left him a quadriplegic. Given less than 8 years to live, but he endured his challenges and lived for 66 years.

Cal thoughtfully made colorful wooden walking sticks for those who had difficulty getting around. Though chairbound, he often worked on his van so he could visit family and friends himself.

Cal follows his beloved father and mother, Nathaniel & Gerardine Ward; stepmother, Celia Ward; and his dear brothers, Luke, Allen, and Jim, to heaven. He leaves behind his family: Stella, Lena, Nat, Geri, Holly, Terry, Sarah, Aaron, Phillip, and Carla. He loved and was loved by many more nieces, nephews and friends.

We love you Cal. May you finally be able to walk again in the clouds of heaven, as we miss you here on Earth.
