I met Rob in the mid 2000s when I participated in a fundraiser for Jaime. We instantly hit it off and while we both lived our separate lives in different states, there existed a kinship. We could have been brothers in a different time. Rob was both a dreamer and visionary. That does not mean he was passive about his beliefs. His dream of an eco destination made progress yet stymied by economics, and his health. A man will be measured by his children and the women that he loved. Cindy and Kim are very special ladies. His four children and his five grandchildren are is legacy for the future. I hope they have been imbued with his kindness and love of nature as well as his courage.
