Christopher NORDBY Obituary

Born: Feb. 5th, 1965, Portland, OR

Died: Sept. 20th, 2025, Spokane, WA

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Nordby; and grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jacki. Children: Kyle James Nordby, 33 (Dawn), Lindsey Ann Nordby O'Sullivan, 31 (Tim). His father, Robert D. Nordby. Siblings Teri and Doug Dawley, Bobby and Jean Nordby, Paula and Jay Cram. A large, loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Chris spent many years working with his family at Marlene's restaurant and Sweet Old Bob's before opening his own business with his wife, CJ's Pub. He then moved to construction for Realty West, followed by maintenance and groundskeeping at Pines Cemetery. Years later, he returned to his roots as the lead cook for Skyway Cafe. Chris amassed many talents throughout his life. He employed these skills to assist anyone in need. His love and passion for his family and cars will always be his trademark. The impact of his legacy is immeasurable.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 18th, from 1-5 pm, at 9925 N. Fairview Rd., Spokane, WA 99217. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to St. Jude's charity in his name.
