Concetta DINSMORE Obituary

Tina was born in Stornara, Italy, on July 3, 1929. Tina had so many beautiful memories and stories of her early years spent growing up in Italy with her family and the beautiful Mediterranean Ocean. Her Mama died when she was very young and Tina adored her Papa, who was a hardworking brick layer.

When Tina was 17, she sailed on a ship for three weeks and began a new life here in America. Tina met her husband, Donald Dinsmore, while she was out dancing with friends. They fell deeply in love and were married in 1954. Don and Tina loved ballroom dancing. They continued dancing as long as they could. Don always said that Tina was his best dance partner! They were married for almost 68 years before Don passed away.

Tina was a homemaker who created the most loving and beautiful home. She loved time spent together with her family, going to church to express her deep love for God, singing with her beautiful voice, a night out ballroom dancing with her husband, time preparing for the holidays, growing her gardens and flowers, and just being in the warm sunshine. She loved going camping, fishing, and traveling many places with her family like Canada, to the ocean beaches, to California to see family, and even back to Italy to see her family with her husband Don and her sister Rosa. Her family remembers and cherishes all of these wonderful moments!

Tina passed away peacefully on April 25th, surrounded by her family. Tina had five children, who gave her seven grandchildren, who gave her eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Papa; her Mama; her seven sisters; her husband, Donald; and her sons, Donald Jr. and Gary; all of whom she dearly loved. Tina is survived by her sons, Les and Michael, and their spouses, Barbara and Debbie; her daughter, Rosanna, and her spouse, Shane; and many other family members and friends. Tina will always be remembered for her deep faith in God and the love and sunshine that she brought into other peoples' lives!!
