Darlene CAUDILL Obituary
Darlene Frances Caudill, born on August 23, 1937, to Ted and Helen Freeman, passed away on June 17, 2023. Survived by her daughter, Joyce (Ed) LaBrue, sons, Roy (Suzanne), Kelly (Doreen), and Jeff (Candy) Caudill; sister, Donna Johnson; grandchildren, Nick, Sean, Kassie, Cristyn, Cory & great-granddaughter, Alivia. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Caudill in 1985, daughter, Gail in 2016, son, Wade in 2020, grandson, Shane in 2020, and parents, Ted and Helen Freeman.
Darlene worked for Spokane Public Schools for 28 years as a maintenance clerk before she retired.
Darlene loved to go camping and spend time with family and friends. She loved to sew and specialized in Brazilian Embroidery. She loved tending to her garden, the raspberry bushes, and flower gardens.
Mom loved having many family get-togethers. Her claim to fame and enjoyment was cooking for her family and friends. No one ever went hungry. We will miss these special times with her.
She loved her dogs and granddogs. She took care of them whenever she was asked.
Graveside Service will be held July 15, 2023, at 11 AM at Marshall Cemetery, 12011 S. Austin Rd., Spokane, WA 99224.
Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mom, Kelly and I wish so much we could have had more time with you. We know you were suffering and now you are no longer in pain. Thank you for being the best mother and mother in law. We miss you so very much. We love you .

We never had the pleasure of meeting, but if your son is any inclination at the type of woman you were, I know we would have been fast friends. I´m very sad this world has lost a beautiful soul such as yours but am glad to know you´re out of pain and reunited with loved ones. We´ll keep an eye on Kelly for you. Rest easy.
