David MERKLE Obituary

David Joseph Merkle was born September 30, 1976, and raised in Spokane, WA. He graduated from Shadle Park HS, class of 1995 and went on to receive an AA degree from SCC diesel automotive. He loved cars and worked at Toyota Auto Nation. David and his son, Danny, enjoyed rock crawling with their club, snowboarding in the winter and summers at Deer Lake with friends and family. He was a genuinely kind man and father, who will be greatly missed. David is survived by his son, Danny Merkle (the light of his life); mother and father, Don and Jeanette Merkle; sister, Sarah Harwood; brother-in-law, Jerry Harwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. His service will be at Hennessey Funeral Home on Division, at 10:00 am, on Saturday, August 2nd. Please bring a photo of David to place on a memory board for Danny. Following the service, join us at Deer Lake for his celebration of life. Bring your family, swimsuits, and RC cars/rock crawlers.
