David WENDT Obituary

Spokane - David Garry Wendt. Our father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed on to eternal life on Mar. 31, 2023, at Holy Family Hospital surrounded by family. He fought a long hard battle with cancer for 18 months. He was 60yrs old. He was born in Spokane, WA, to Brooks and Norma Wendt on July 4, 1962. He attended John Rogers H.S. and for a short time was a small business owner of "Fresh Coat Painting". He went on to be a highly skilled welder and worked for N.W. Steel Fab for 14 yrs., before his passing. David loved camping, the great outdoors, his home, and yard work, but his ultimate passions were cars and of course, Nascar Racing! He is survived by his two sons, Brian Wendt, and Niclas Wendt; brothers, Wayne Wendt (Sue), and Russel Wendt (Jan); three grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Kenneth Allen Wendt. A Celebration of life is to be announced at a later date.

We are so sad to hear of David's passing. He was such a great guy and he was so fun to talk to . We are blessed to have been able to care for him for the last 1.5 years. He will always be remembered and greatly missed.
