David WRIGHT Obituary

David Bruce Wright, 74, born to Clary and Norma Wright passed away on April 1, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David was born on February 25, 1950, in Spokane, WA, where he lived for 70 years. After graduating from University High School, he enlisted in the United States Army Reserves and served nine years. After an honorable discharge, he went on to become a successful, well-known commercial property manager with various organizations, but spent the majority of his career with NAI Black in Spokane, WA. At the age of 70, he retired and moved to St. George, UT. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication and passion for helping others.

But more than anything, David was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. Any time spent with his close family was full of fun and laughter. He was known for making up games, cooking pancakes, and jumping on the trampoline. He was always there to offer support, provide encouragement and teach the importance of a strong handshake.

In his free time, David was adventurous and enjoyed sandlot football, golfing, playing tennis with friends and family, and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm. As his friends and family were aware, Dave had a quirky sense of artistry, making people laugh and scratch their heads in disbelief. If you were a friend of David's, you were blessed to be a part of his life. He was an active member of his community, volunteering for various causes and organizations.

One thing that stood out the most with David, was the fun he had in life. He was quick to laugh, joke, inspire others to be their best, while having fun. His friends and family adored him and many who knew David always said, "He is such a nice guy" and one of his motto's was "the last touchdown wins".

David is survived by his wife, Pamela Wright (Anderson); daughter, Jessica Wolfrum (Erik); grandsons, Erik Thomas and Luke; stepmother, Yvonne Kovacevich (Robert); stepmother, Gail Wright (Clary); brothers, Bud Wright, Dennis Wright (Jackie), and Dan Wright (Kayse); sister, Tawni Wright (Shawn); godson, Christian Wright (Katie); stepdaughter, Ashley Pollick (Greg); step-grandsons, Riley, Reid, and William; stepson, Ryan Anderson (Cassie); step-grandchildren, Caleb, Bryan, Joe, Liam, and Faith; and a plethora of nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

David loved the Lord and attended several churches including Calvary Chapel in Spokane. He enjoyed teaching others about the Lord through Bible Studies and Church Activities. He was a true man of God. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

On June 23, 2024, there will be a celebration of life at the home of Dennis and Jackie Wright. More information will follow.
