Deanna passed away suddenly on April 26, 2011.
She was born to Pat and Bette Vail on August 25, 1962 in Everett, WA and was raised and spent all of her school years in Twisp, WA, graduating from Liberty Bell High School in 1980.
Deanna was a special cashier at Playfair Racecourse in the late '80s and early '90s and finally promoted to Off Track Mgr. at Okanogan, WA, for Playfair Racecourse. She later returned to Spokane and became employed at the Northern Quest Casino for two years. She then returned to Twisp, WA and spent her remaining years raising the love of her life, Riley.
Deanna was a lifetime member and past President of the Twisp Eagles Auxiliary. Deanna was mostly known for her wit, sense of humor and uncanny way to make everyone around her laugh and blush.
She is survived by her son, Riley Vail Moe of Twisp; her parents Pat and Bette Vail of Spokane; her sisters, Debbie Jean Helfrecht (Bob) of Pendleton, OR, Debra Susan Vail (Jeff) of Silver City, New Mexico, and Patti Cato (Tim) of Deer Park, WA.
Preceding her in death were her fiancé Clint Taylor and her brother, Daniel Patrick Vail.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E. Boone Ave. Spokane, WA 99202. At 8 A.M. on Saturday, May 28th, 2011. A private family burial service will be held at a later date.
