Dell FOWLER Obituary
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Wilton LeGrand Fowler, Jr., and daughter April Dell Fowler. She was the beloved aunt to her five nieces and nephews and also four grand nieces and nephews.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota but lived her childhood in Aiken, South Carolina where she graduated from Aiken High School. While in Aiken she received her Surgical Technician Certification from Baptist Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, and was employed by University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. On August 24, 1968, she married at First Baptist Church. Afterward, they lived in Georgia, Alabama, and for 21 years in Spokane, Washington. Her favorite thing to do was to write letters to her family and friends and read books on various subjects. Her warm smile, sense of humor (understated but very quick) and overall kindness will be greatly missed.
She will be laid to rest in Mullins, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of importance.

I just came across this obit & wanted to share my friendship with Dell Ree in my early years of AHS & possibly one year at Kennedy Middle School. What comes to mind are the parties she hosted during those years in her parents beautiful home on Dupree or Berrie Rd. My maiden name was Fowler & I have been in Aiken since entering 7th grade. Dell Ree & I lost contact during high school but I remember her as a very kind & sweet person. I regret that we didn't stay in contact. Bunny Fowler Miller
