Doug LEUVEN Obituary
Doug Van Leuven, age 71, of Highland Park, IL, passed away on May 18, 2024, from a seizure disorder. He was born on December 27, 1952, in Spokane to Shirley (Jolly) and Gordon Van Leuven. Doug is survived by his wife, Nancy Jones; his father, Gordon; sister, Darlene Kirk (DeWayne); and nephew, Ryan Deno. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, and sister, Diana Deno.
Doug attended Finch Elementary, Glover Middle School, Shadle Park High School, and Washington State University. He had a passion for sports, the outdoors and riding his Schwinn Continental bicycle. He enjoyed getting together and staying in touch with friends and family. Doug will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
