Earnie HURLEY Obituary
He was born in Spokane, one of six children born to Earnie and Marjorie Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Dan, Gene, Steve and sister Karen.
He is survived by wife, Janice Hurley (Hillstead) of Cheney, WA, daughter, Lynn Hurley (Jake Anderson), two granddaughters, Halle and Hannah of Rochester, MN, son, David Hurley of Cheney, WA, and brother, Gary Hurley (Linda) of Newport, OR.
Dave graduated from West Valley High School in 1971. He worked construction for several years and then attended the UW School of Medicine graduating in 1994. He completed his Family Practice Residency in Pocatello, ID, and returned to Spokane in 1997.
Dr. Hurley loved being a family physician, serving the Cheney and Spokane communities for 18 years. Those people he worked with, and the families they cared for were forever special to him.
He loved to laugh, tell stories, ride motorcycles and fly fish. He cherished his family most of all; and took great delight in long conversations with his giggling granddaughters. He loved us well, and we will miss him forever.

I worked for Spokane Valley Family Medicine when Dr. Hurley was one of the physicians there. I soon discovered we went to West Valley High School together. He was kind, funny, and a good doctor. He was too young and will be missed.
