Ellen FRIEDENBACH Obituary
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Theresa Danforth; and her brother, Dallas Danforth.
She is survived by her husband, William Friedenbach; and their children, Carmen (Mike) Posey, Jo Ogle, Darcy (Bill) Burger, Shane (Jill) Friedenbach and Brian (Stephanie) Friedenbach; grandchildren, Joshua Stenson, Zachary Stenson, Mikaila (Aaron) Froese, and Parker Posey; great-grandchildren, Ava Stenson and Axel Stenson; and her brother, David (Mary) Danforth.
Ellen's life was devoted to caring for others, especially children. She raised five of her own, looked after the children of family members, and countless others as a school bus attendant caring for children with disabilities. She also spent many years caring for her mother. In the end, when Ellen herself needed care, her life became a role model for those who cared for her.
Services will be held Friday, October 10, at 10 a.m., at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E. Boone Ave., Spokane, WA. Reception to follow at O'Malley Hall.
