I am so sorry that I missed the memorial. I just came across the article yesterday. Although her and my uncle Clarence divorced years ago I have always referred to her as aunt Emma. You know that she traveled west from eastern Montana to Lamont, Wa with my Mom. They were both just young teenagers.

Aunite Em, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, patience, and acceptance you gave my mother Renee. She has so few people that open their heart to her and you did without hesitation. I cherish the memories of visiting your home, playing monopoly, hearing Robbie yell at the t.v. during football games, and enjoying your homemade biscuits and strawberry jam. As an adult, I could understand what a strong woman you were and I truly admire that. Thank you for all your kindness and love. You are missed. I look forward to seeing you again. I love you always.

Until We Meet Again
Each morning when we awake
we know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache with sadness
and many tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,No one will ever know.
Our thoughts are always with you,
your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
There will always be a heartache,
and often a silent tear,
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.
If tears could make a staircase,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.
Our family chain is broken now,
And nothing will be the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

I love you and miss you so much. I will work hard every day to do the right things and take care of my family like you took care of us. I know you are smiling down on us and giving me the strength to continue on. Until we see each other again. Love you.

We will all miss you so much. When we moved here in 1991 you welcomed us into your loving home and treated us like family. Your gentle heart and caring for others is one of the things that made you so special. Love you and I will see you again one day.
