KIRK, Florence Hedwig (Kuper) (Age 91) Florence was born in Aberdeen, WA on February 7, 1923 to Ernst and Helen Kuper. She passed away peacefully in Spokane, WA on December 19, 2014. On May 3, 1952 Florence married Robert Kirk in Seattle, WA. They lived in several cities in Washington and California as well as Anchorage, AK. Florence was an accomplished organist and keyboard player. She also enjoyed dancing, cooking, having wonderful dinner parties (she was a great hostess) and singing, she had a wonderful singing voice. Her biggest love was people. She enjoyed talking to them, listening to them and analyzing them. She truly treasured her family and friends. She was always an exemplary wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. Florence was a long standing member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church and she volunteered with many organizations and was known for her dedication. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Robert Kirk. Florence is survived by her daughter Lynelle Kirk-Spence of Spokane and her son Gregory Kirk of Spokane. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00PM at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 5720 S. Perry Street, Spokane, WA 99223.
