Our father exemplified kindness, faithfulness, compassion and integrity. He was a devoted husband, steadfast father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Late in life he was an adoring boyfriend. He touched so many hearts in his lifetime, making so many lifelong friendships. He never judged, cursed, or thought ill of any person. Our father was our example of a loving human being. His lessons to us will never diminish. We love you Dad!

Frank and I had great fun in our jobs, his flight experiences had to be pulled out of him, especially the mystery one he flew over oops, I´m not supposed to talk about that one. Miss you Frank!

This photo was taken around 1949. Frank ("Bud" as he was called then) is second row far right. I am first row far right. He was about 15 then. I was about 14. We were friends even though his father was enlisted, mine was an officer and we lived in separate areas of Camp Lee, VA.

I knew Frank (then called "Bud") when we were in the Boy scouts at Camp Lee, Virginia. Then we were together at the Univ. of Maryland extension in Munich, Germany. He was fun loving and sure of himself. I looked up to him ==. May he rest in peace. Jack Phillips
