Glen EMERY Obituary

Glen Douglas "Doug" Emery, 82, of Spokane, WA, entered into rest on October 11, 2025, joining his wife of 36 years, Karen. Born on July 5, 1943, Doug is survived by his siblings, Sharon Monson and Debi Cates; his children, Lorin, Tracy and Ronda; and many stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorin and Florence; and siblings, Jerry Emery Sr. and Penny Van Dyke.

A lifelong truck driver, Doug spent much of his career proudly driving for Safeway. Known for being a loving husband and father, nothing meant more to him than his family. In his younger years he loved fishing and hunting. He spent his final days watching movies, football and westerns, occasionally catching a hockey game with his grandson, Chris.

Doug touched all of our lives with his love, kindness, and the quality of his character. He was a shining example on what it means to be a good man. He will never be forgotten.

Viewing services will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division, on October 17, 2025, from 12:00 - 4:00.
