Gwynn TRIMP Obituary

TRIMP, Gwynn L. On Monday, March 15th, 2021, we all gained an angel. Gwynn L. Trimp left this world peacefully in her sleep to be with her Lord. She was 68 years old. Born in Coeur d' Alene, ID to proud parents Frank and Lucy Trimp, Gwynn lived a life full of joy, personality, laughter, and sass. A proud Campfire Girl, Gwynn attended Bowdish Middle School and graduated from Central Valley High School in the Spokane Valley in 1971. Throughout her young life, Gwynn had a passion for spending time with her friends, singing in the choir, and skiing. There was never a day at the beach she would turn down, chance to socialize that she would avoid, or rug that she wouldn't cut. Professionally, Gwynn was passionate about serving others with her unparalleled work ethic. Her colleagues and customers alike were always treated with respect, and knew they were valued on a deep level. With compassion for others she charged into her work, even in her last week of life at Mother's Cupboard in Liberty Lake. She was often teased by her sons about turning a "10 minute grocery run" into a 90 minute social reunion. "I ran into someone that I went to school with!", she'd say, regardless of the city, town, or state she lived in at the time. Obviously she didn't attend school with millions of people, but lived life like she had, experiencing great joy in sharing a kind word, encouragement to a stranger, a funny story, and her strong faith in Christ. Proceeding her warming-up the dance floor in heaven is her mother, father, and brothers Allen and Randy. Gywnn is survived by her pride and joy (and sometimes pains in the rear) sons Shawn (Lacey) Bagnall, Shayne (Melissa) Andrew, and Caleb (Jennifer) Bagnall. Also carrying forward with Gwynn in their heart is her sister Nikki (Cliff) Anderson, as well as three grandkiddos (Anna, Auden, Brennan), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless dear friends. A celebration of Gwynn's life will occur in late summer or early fall, 2021.

several months i met Gwynn and she was very special. I wish that I had gotten to know her better. She was a delight to visit with. She emailed me messages to read in my Bible. You were so blessed to have a mother like her.

Gwynn was such a lovely person, both inside and out. A beautiful spirit that will be so missed by everyone that knew her. We met at Home Depot years ago and shared so many heart-to-heart talks along with lots of laughter.
I will miss you Gorgeous. Even heaven is surely a more beautiful place having you there.

When Gwynn entered a room, she was a bright light. I always called her my angel. Her smile was infectious, her laughter a delight. She held my hand many times and always made everyone feel cared for and loved. My heart is broken. I will miss her hugs and genuine conversations. She loved her family and her beautiful grand kids so much. My sincerest condolences to the family. You "all" were her pride and joy. Cass Schettler
