McHENRY, Heath Robert Nickolas (Age 49) Heath Robert Nickolas McHenry tragically passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 as a result of a snow skiing accident. Heath was born in 1971 in Spokane, WA to Bruce and Mary Lou McHenry. Heath grew up in Spokane, graduated from Central Valley High School in 1989 and was well-known as a gifted athlete. He attended Central Washington University and Eastern Washington University, earning degrees in both Finance and Business, with a minor in Economics. He also obtained his commercial/instrument rating pilot's license at the age of 18. Heath worked very hard for these accomplishments and then began his career in Finance in Seattle, where he lived for many years. In 1998, he married his best friend, Kelsy, in Spokane at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. They were blessed with three children and made Liberty Lake, WA their home. Heath enjoyed snow skiing, mountain biking, coaching his sons' baseball and football teams, playing and watching sports and spending time with good friends. Most of all, he loved being with his family. He was an amazing husband, son, father, and friend. Heath also considered the Schweitzer ski community all as part of his extended family. Heath was loved by many and had a huge heart for helping others. He would do anything to protect and support his beloved family and friends. He touched all who knew him with his charisma and loyalty. His family is comforted in knowing that he was doing what he loved and surrounded by friends on a bluebird day when he left this earth. Heath is survived by his wife, Kelsy; their daughter MaryKate; their sons Nickolas and Smith; his mother MaryLou and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Services will be held at Holy Trinity and officiated by Father Daniel Triant. The family will hold a memorial in Liberty Lake, WA in June of 2021 to celebrate his 50th Birthday in remembrance. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your charity of choice.

I would like to extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Heath's wife and children and his dear Mother Mary Lou Who was my friend in high school. I never had the opportunity to meet he's or his family but his father Bruce was my neighbor and close friend in high school. I know Bruce would have been so proud of his son.

So very sorry to hear of Heath’s passing. He took care of my Mom’s investments with RBC for many years and she truly enjoyed their visits. Although we never met I did have a few telephone calls with him and his personality shone through. Again, I’m very sorry for your family’s loss.

This is very sad news and a great loss. Heath was an exceptional financial advisor. I met him through a friend who was one of his long-time customers. She was older and capable. Heath was superb as her advisor, astute, considerate, thoughtful, thorough, of great integrity, and friend.
