Robert GERLACH Obituary
Robert "Butch" Gerlach, 78, took his last shuttle ride on July 20, 2025.
Born on September 24, 1946, Butch was the beloved son of Robert and Dorothy Gerlach. He was a proud member of the Local 44 Plumbing and Pipefitting Union, where he dedicated many years of hard work and craftsmanship. Robert was a life member of VFW Post 1474.
Butch is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Gerlach; his stepdaughter, Alicia Dixon; and his grandson, Pierce Dixon. He is also survived by his brothers, Dave, Glen, and Gail.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Darrell and Dave Gerlach; and his sister, Terryl Noisom.
Family and friends will gather to honor Butch's life at a Celebration of Life and Potluck on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 1474, 2902 E. Diamond, Spokane.
Butch will be remembered for his sense of humor, loyalty, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
