Jason SCHMIDT Obituary

Jason Alan Schmidt born October 14, 1972, left this world on July 24, 2024, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and a legacy that will be forever remembered.  In the hearts of those who loved him, he will always be fondly recalled for his kind and generous spirit.  He touched the lives of many in his journey through life, leaving an indelible mark of love and compassion.

Survived by his beloved wife, Abby; his mother, Verna; and his sister, Angie; Jason's presence in their lives was a beacon of light that brought warmth and joy.  His unwavering love and devotion to his family was evident in every action and every word spoken.  Among those mourning his departure is his best friend Chris Wright, who shared countless memories and experiences with Jason.  Their bond of friendship was unbreakable, a testament to the depth of their connection.  In addition to his human companions, Jason also leaves behind his furry babies Crete and Bemis.  These loyal companions brought him immense joy and comfort throughout his days.

As we bid farewell to Jason, let us remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for having known such a remarkable individual.  May his memory live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.  Rest in peace, dear Jason.

A Memorial for Jason will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 18 at 1 pm.
