Jeffrey Jay TEMPLETON

Jeffrey Jay Templeton (a.k.a. "Toby Templeton") passed away on March 31, 2022. Jeff was preceded in death by the loss of his brother Chris and is survived by his parents Gary and Denise (Laos) Templeton, his sister Janet his brothers Scott and Greg, sister-in-laws Debra, Kelli, and Rebecca, brother-in-law Don Warren, many nieces and nephews and a cat named Jinx. Jeff grew up as a proud Air Force brat living in different parts of the world, including Bitburg, Germany, where Jeff graduated in 1978 from Bitburg High School. This is also where Jeff met many of his lifelong friends. Jeff's biggest strength was his ability to make and keep friends. If you were one of his friends you are truly blessed. Jeff worked for many years in the restaurant industry in Spokane, WA starting as a dishwasher at the Spokane House restaurant where he received his nickname "Toby" and eventually ended up as the restaurant manager. He also managed Stadium Pizza by Joe Albi for many years and most recently he worked for AARP. Jeff loved golf and still got out on the course as his health permitted. Jeff was a lover of sports especially the Dallas Cowboys his favorite NFL team. He was a huge supporter of Eastern Washington Athletics and was once nominated as volunteer booster of the year. He was loved by his friends and family and he will be forever missed. There will be a graveside service on May 6, 2022, at 12:30 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park.
