Jerrold HAM Obituary
Spokane - Born July 13, 1943, in Chanute, KS. Crossed into the unseen realm peacefully in Spokane, WA, on April 25, 2025.
Survived by wife of 49 years, Donnelyn; two sons, Jae (Lena) and Ben; sister, Deborah; brothers, Ken (Linda) and Bernie; and two grandchildren, Weston and Dahlia.
Jerry lived a colorful life, regaling family with tales of work on fishing boats and in New York City cabs in his younger years. He went on to pursue a career in healthcare as a nurse, dabbled in drafting, and then returned to in-home healthcare until his eventual retirement.
A devoted Christian, he revered God, enjoyed long drives, whether in a car or on a motorcycle, fishing, and strong, black coffee.
In his final years, Jerry was beset by Alzheimer's disease. This didn't prevent him, even in his final days, from missing an opportunity to tell those closest to him that he loved them.
The family will receive guests at a service to be held at Engage Church, 5101 S. Freya, on May 2, at 5 p.m.

Sending our condolences and love for Jerry and your family.
I have a lot of fond memories of going nearly every week, for years, next door to your house for piano lessons and often talking with Jerry.
Jerry was a very kind man and he will definitely be missed. God willing, we look forward to seeing Jerry again when we reach Heaven.

Jerry was our next door neighbor when our kids weee growing up. He was one of the kindest, gentlest, and most caring persons I have known. He will be missed on this earth.

He was kind and gentle, a dependable neighbor and a fun person. I remember his poetry and his calm demeanor. He loved Christ and others - you can´t do better than that.
