Joan May O'BRIEN

O'BRIEN, Joan May (Age 90) Joan May O'Brien passed away on March 9, 2021 at age 90 in her home at Rockwood Lane in Spokane. Joan was a lifelong Spokane resident and raised her five children on the South Hill with her late husband Dannie George O'Brien. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church. Joan graduated from North Central High School. In her final days, she handled the cancer diagnosis with dignity and grace. Her faith was strong, she was ready to be welcomed into heaven and reunited with her loved ones. Joan was an amazing mother, friend, and neighbor. Joan was loved by many and adored by her family; she will be greatly missed. Joan is survived by her two daughters; Kim Conway (Tom Keating), and Patricia Loveall (late Jerry Loveall), and three sons; John O'Brien (Lori O'Brien), David O'Brien (Janice O'Brien), and Daniel O'Brien Mendell (Susan Mendell); eleven grandchildren: Dustin Ruckhaber (Lori Ruckhaber), CJ Moe, Sarah Moe, Nicole Loveall, Patrick O'Brien, Madison O'Brien, Ian O'Brien, Joe O'Brien (Mindy O'Brien), Ben O'Brien (Lindsey O'Brien), Maggie O'Brien, Lena Deland, and eight great-grandchildren: Hailey Ruckhaber, Paxton Ruckhaber, Sierra O'Brien, Cameron O'Brien, Chloe O'Brien, Charlotte O'Brien, Lily Duncan, and Amelia Deland.
