John was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I can still hear his booming voice and feel his infectious enthusiasm. He had a big impact on all of us in the traffic safety community and his spirit invigorated everyone he met. Through his passion for safety, he saved lives of people he would never meet. John, I will always remember you and honor you with my own commitment to teaching and sharing the message with our young people. Thanks for everything, John !

I met John briefly at the Costco dining tables. We discovered shared responsibilities for transportation safety and exchanged business cards. What struck me was his ready smile and easy, friendly manner that allowed him to start up a conversation with a complete stranger. I am so sorry for your family's loss. So thankful you will see him again someday.

To the Harvey Family-
Harv was an amazing person who lived five lifetimes in his 64 years. He lit up every room that he entered, and left a path of high fives, smiles, and positive energy everywhere he went. We worked with him through the Washington Traffic Safety Commission and learned so much from knowing him - his teachings will continue to influence people for years to come. Thanks to John, our roads are safer and the world is a nicer place to live. We miss him.

I knew Harv through Driver Education training in Idaho. He came to several of our workshops and always had a smile on his face. Harv had one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen! He was a great man, and even though I did not know him well, I do know that he will be missed greatly. God bless you!
