Keith REILLY Obituary

December 10, 1948 - October 27, 2023

Spokane - Keith D. Reilly dedicated his life to the service of others. He attended Rogers High School followed by Eastern Washington University. He taught in Kennewick, WA, before moving to Deer Park, where he taught for many years. Keith coached sports, taught English, Math, Driver's Ed, and more. Keith served the community as Deer Park City Council Member, Mayor of Deer Park, Volunteer Firefighter, Fire Chief, EMT, and Foster Parent of boys who became his family for life.

After retiring, Keith taught English in Japan, worked with Red Cross, volunteered at Ronald McDonald House, was on the Board of Equalization, Licensed Mediator, Hearing Officer for Spokane Housing Authority and proud donor as EWU Alum and Dollars for Scholars.

Keith's favorite weekend was Settler's Days, catching up with former students, firefighters, EMT's, teachers, and friends. Keith's grandsons are proud to honor his legacy by hosting an Open House-style memorial in the Community Room at Spokane Fire District 4, in Deer Park on Sunday, July 28, from 1-4 pm. Please join us in celebrating Keith, sharing stories, and enjoying some ice cream.
