Kenneth CHAPLIN Obituary

CHAPLIN, Kenneth M. "Ken" (Age 92) Passed away January 8, 2015. He was born in Spokane to Oren and Emma (Bradford) Chaplin. He attended numerous schools from Wyoming to California to Oregon and then Washington. His father's business of building bridges caused the family to relocate often. Ken graduated from WSU with an Engineering Degree in 1941. He entered the Navy as a Lieutenant. His ship participated in many landings in the Pacific Theatre in WWII. After his discharge from the Navy Ken returned to Spokane to work with his father building bridges. Their company built many of the overpasses on Interstate 90 through Spokane. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home with military honors.
