Kenneth PETERSEN Obituary
Kenneth H. Petersen, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away in Spokane, Washington, on September 4th, 2024. Born and raised in Oakland, California, Ken served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he moved to Spokane in 1977, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Ken had a deep passion for sports, the outdoors, and fishing. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement in 1999 and was known for his dedication and kindness.
Ken will lovingly be remembered by his son, Alec Petersen, and wife, Danielle; his daughters, Emily Petersen and Mary Kypreos, and husband, Markus; his sisters, Elaine Pecci and Adrianne Ladd; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and grandchildren. His generosity touched many lives.
A service honoring Ken's life will be held on Friday, September 13th, at 10:30 AM, at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake.
