Passed away peacefully January 10, 2011 at Hospice House of Spokane after a three year battle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1958 in Spokane, WA. He resided in Spokane and graduated from Gonzaga Prep in 1977. He worked as a journeyman carpenter (Local #98) for over 20 years. Kevin enjoyed boating, camping, crooning (Dean Martin karaoke) and bartending in his spare time. He is survived by his brother, Thomas (Lynda) VanderGaag, Spokane, WA; sisters, Vicki (Mark) Hawkins, Kennewick, WA, Susan (Dale VanZandt) VanderGaag, Spokane, WA, Sandra Bradshaw (Larry Ellsworth), Spokane, WA; nieces, Elizabeth (Michael) Douglas, Spokane, WA; Emily Gallagher, Spokane, WA, Amy Hawkins, Richland, WA, Jennifer (Brandon) Underwood, Spokane, WA, Tara (Brad) Alfano, Spokane, WA, Megan VanderGaag, Deer Park, WA; nephews, John (Christina) VanderGaag, Kennewick, WA, Jeff Hawkins, Spokane, WA, Daniel Hawkins, Kennewick, WA, Timothy Bradshaw, Spokane, WA, Thomas Bradshaw, Spokane, WA. He was preceded in death by his father, John VanderGaag and mother, Elizabeth VanderGaag, both of Spokane. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Sincere thanks to Dr. Larry Eastburn and his wife, Elaine, and the entire staff of Hospice House of Spokane for their wonderful care and support.
