Krystal REPP

Krystal Nicole Repp was born on December 7th, 1981, to Jim and Debbie (Semler) Repp in Spokane, Washington. Krystal passed away from complications of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy on September 27th, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family.

Krystal graduated from University High School in 2000 and then attended Spokane Community College to become a pharmacy technician. She later went back to school, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington State University. This led to her becoming the Senior Specialty Business Analyst in the IT Department at WSU.

In 2006, she met her fiancé, Jason McNair. Jason and Krystal would remain by each other's side through all the adventures and challenges that followed.

LGMD is a rare and relentless disease, and as Krystal adjusted to her loss of mobility, she poured her energy into knitting and crocheting. The multitude of beautiful hats, blankets, scarves, and socks she created will be cherished reminders of both her creative spirit and her care for others.

Krystal had many talents and achievements, but her true passion was people. She gave selflessly and loved unconditionally. Her big heart, kind nature, and eagerness to help others were the defining pillars of her personality and the legacy she leaves. Krystal's life was full of challenges, but you would never know it. She faced her struggles with grace and quiet courage. She loved life, and she left us too soon.

Krystal was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norm Semler and Joan LaVerne, and James and Gloria Repp. Krystal is survived by her fiancé, Jason McNair; parents, Jim and Debbie Repp; her sisters, Jenn (Zak) and Pam; and her niece, Hadley.

A memorial service for Krystal will be held on Sunday, October 19th, at 2:00 pm, at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, at 1315 N. Pines.
