Larry OVNICEK Obituary

OVNICEK,
Larry N.
(Age 72)

August 31, 1945 -
June 28, 2018

Larry was born in Sandpoint, ID, but lived in Heron, MT for a short time before the family moved to the Cheney, WA area where spent the majority of his grade school years. The family moved to the Spokane Valley in 1956, and Larry spent the rest of his school years in Central Valley School District and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1963.
Larry and two of his grade school friends went to New York City to work at the New York World's Fair in 1964, and after coming home, Larry decided he liked it so well that he went back in the spring of 1965, to work at the Fair the second year it ran. After the Fair ended, he started looking for a job and ended up working for Merrill Lynch for the next 42 years. Larry retired from Merrill Lynch as a Senior VP of Operations.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Pat and a sister Penny. Larry is survived by sons Eric (Melanie) and Tim (Chantelle) and four grandchildren: Hunter, Ashlyn, William, Brielle, brother Garry (Chris), sister Bonnie (Bill) and numerous extended family. There will be a private family get together at a later date.
