TAYLOR, Lisa Marie Peacefully on the morning of September 28, 2014, in Dallas, TX, Lisa Marie Taylor, earth's most self- less soul became heaven's most precious angel. Daughter of Madelyn R. Taylor of Washington, D.C. and the late William E. Taylor, Vice President of Operations, Garfinckel's, also of Washington, D.C. Survived by her mother; six siblings: Kenneth W. Taylor (Catherine) of Evanston, IL and Naples, FL, Jennifer A. Ste. Marie of Providence, RI, Adrienne E. Taylor of New York, NY, Christopher A. Taylor (Lynn) of Katy, TX, Carol T. Hall of North Bethesda, MD, and Nicholas G. Taylor of Grapevine, TX; eleven nieces and nephews; one great niece; an uncle, John Ruso (Kay) of Marina del Rey, CA; extended relatives in California, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Slovenia, and Croatia; and numerous friends and colleagues throughout the U.S. Born September 23, 1955 in Abington, PA and raised in Washington, D.C., Lisa attended and graduated from Lafayette Elementary School, Alice Deal Junior High School, Immaculata Preparatory School (1973), and Mount Vernon College (1978). After beginning her professional design career in Washington, D.C., Lisa relocated to Texas, where she worked at Southwest Inns, Ltd. in Houston (1981-1984) and Westbrooke Hospitality Corporation in Irving (1984-1992). Lisa moved to Dallas in 1992 to become Founder and President of KLT Services, Inc., a successful and highly sought after hotel interior design and purchasing firm involved in new and renovation hotel construction projects nationwide. Since its founding, KLT Services has provided design, purchasing, and project management services, and been retained by owners developing or renovating hotels under major franchises, including Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, as well as various independent hotels. In March 2009, KLT Services was awarded "Best Lobby / Public Space Design-Limited Service" by Hotel World and Hotel Design for the Hilton Garden Inn in Richardson, TX. Lisa's commitment to her clients included a unique blend of business ethics, humility, fairness, and notably high performance standards. Loved and respected by so many, Lisa's selfless nature, loving heart, bright smile, and positive outlook will eternally remain within those who were blessed to know her. Rare in life do you meet a person about whom no unkind word is ever spoken. Such was Lisa's gift. In honor and celebration of her life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Saint Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Road, Dallas, TX 75220.
