Louis LARSEN Obituary

April 30, 1943 - April 15, 2023

Louis D Larsen, 79, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on April 15, 2023. Louis D. Larsen was born on April 30, 1943, in Potlatch, Idaho, to parents Ludzig Larsen and Margaret Berge (Larsen). He graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg with a master's degree in teaching.

He moved to West Germany and accepted a position as a teacher at the Department of Defense, where he worked for more than 20 years. Louis enjoyed singing in St. Mark's Chancel Choir and Spokane Symphony Chorale. His family and friends will always remember him as social and outgoing with a kind heart.

He is survived by his nephews, John Reiss, Paul Reiss, and Glen Reiss, his cousins, and various other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Ludzig and Margaret Larsen and his siblings Eleanor and Lorene. Celebration of Life is scheduled for 3 PM on May 27th, 2023, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Louis Larson's life. The family would like to thank St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

I really miss Eleanor and now Louis who have been part of our family for the past forty years. So many great memories! Thank you Louis for sharing your sister with me and my family and being a dear friend like family.
