Richard H. Larsen Richard H. Larsen, 90 of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away on November 18, 2016 in the Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC.Mr. Larsen was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 24, 1926 to the late K. Henry Larsen and Anna Hansen Larsen. Mr. Larsen was Publisher and Vice President of McGraw-Hill in New York City for 37 years. He received his under graduate and Master Degrees from Harvard University. He was a founding member of Hillside Church in Armonk, NY and charter member of The Church at Hilton Head. Mr. Larsen was a member of the Community Bible Church in Beaufort; teaching Director and served on the Board of Directors for Community Bible Church on Hilton Head; enjoyed reading and was an avid sailor on his ODAY 30.Mr. Larsen is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances Durant Larsen of Hilton Head Island; his son, Philip G. Larsen (LeeAnne) of Chanhassen, MN; his daughter, Claudia L. McCabe (Mark) of Hilton Head Island; his sister, Audrey Poling of Stuart, FL; his grandchildren, Elizabeth McCabe, Joshua McCabe, Dana Larsen, P. Grant Larsen Jr. (Amber), Madeline Larsen and Marit Larsen and his great grandchild, Taryn McCabe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Community Bible Church, 638 Paris Island Gateway, Beaufort. Burial with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Beaufort National Cemetery.
